I am wondering how hard it is to remove the sagaris seats? Keeping in mind i am not the best with diy :P I had the drivers sear raised but it's a bit too high now. Would it be doable to take the seat out and lower it myself? How big a job is it? Thanks smile

I guess the mounting bolt pillars maybe longer than standard. Just four M8 nuts on the chassis rails hold the seat, You may need to get some more or machine the existing down a bit, but go slowly when undoing as the bolt can spin around at the rail.

If you take the seat belt mount off to fully remove make sure it is not twisted when you put it back; mine was from the factory, hence my seat removal.

If its a quick fix on seat height; remove the seat cushion to see what it feels like; it holds you in loads better too.

Hope this helps

Excellent thanks a million. In fact believe it or not the seat belt is also twisted so i need to sort that too! So step by step first thing would be push seat forward. Remove the seat belt holder. Then go at the bolts underneath the seat and hey presto out pops the seat? smile

Undo the seat belt bolt AFTER removing the seat bolts and lifting upwardswink

Slowly remove the nuts to make sure the bolts dont spin in the rails or jam them with a screwdriver.

Tip of the day: To stop the washers dribbling wee; fit an anti siphon check valve in both the supply line and the nearside supply at the joining connector. Mine came off and Audi A8 wash system part no.113 955 975 C.

Thanks a million for the help. You gave me the kick in the ass i needed to go do it. I hate fiddling with things in the car incase i break stuff and being so far away from a dealer is a bit of a nightmare. We got the seat out and the bolts off so now all i need is new shorter bolts and we can put it back together. Here's one of my helpers of the day wink
