All,

I have the opportunity to purchase a Cobretti Viper V8 kit, rolling chassis and two engines (5.7 litre V8 Chevy and 3.5 litre V8 Rover)for £2500. I am tempted by this but my only reservation is that the body has one door, bonnet and bootlid missing.

My question to you is whether Cobretti body parts are easy to come across or whether I am running a high risk that my finished project may be short of a few critical pieces?

Any advice/thoughts welcome

Cheers
Rich

Have a search on google, seems to be reasonably well represented.

As it's a cobra rep I'd also say it wouldn't be very difficult to modify other parts to suit / construct them yourself. Never looked at that particular make / model so not sure on quality though.

Vipers are notoriously difficult to put together compared to other cobra replicas. Have a look at - http://cobraclub.specialistcommunities.com/forum/f...

Also I would introduce yourself on the general forum, lot's of experienced cobra builders on there and a handful of battle scarred viper builders.

Thanks for your comments - I will investigate further. Does the price seem realistic to you?
