SNCF run a motorail service to southern France that I want to use later in the year. They List the Chimaera as a car that meets their criteria for the Motorail but they have put a minimum ground clearance stipulation on my Marcos (which they have never heard of) of 10cm. Can someone please let me know what your normal ground clearance on a Chimaera is?

Many thanks

I took my Griffth on that train earlier this year and I measured mine at 12cm, but it depends if you have adjustable shocks and how they're set up.
The only problem they had was the locking bar wouldn't fit under the front so they put sand bags in front of the tyres, and the driver pulled my ash tray out trying to get out of the car.laugh

Quoted figure is 132mm about 5-1/4" in real money...but with settlement I guess you can knock a percentage off that..our Chim is abot 4 " to the exhaust !!
