Roof edges?

Hi guys,

After several years of taking the roof on and off i've noticed its getting a bit worn around the front and back edges - looks fine when its on but you can see it when you take it off. I'm a bit worried that it might start to fray and then reel off like a big cardigan!

Anyone know of anything you can protect the edges with? Tape or spray perhaps?
