Hi all, i have just taken ownership of a 2003 yellow 135R.
It is fantastic. what a great drive. i drove a friends standard S2 and didnt like it that much over the Exige. Boy this 135r is totally different. More torque(than the S2), better brakes(mintex pads) and just a big grin all round.
I think i even prefer driving it to the Exige S.
I have a track day booked at Castle Combe tomorrow and really cant decide which one to take now.

Anyway, those with S2 Elises, lucky you. they are great.

TC.

Having driven it home for Ed yesterday it is a lovely car, the Geo on it was amazing. A real credit to its previous owner (steve) who i think was close to tears when i drove it away.
Forgot to tell you Ed, Steve was telling me yesterday when he tracked it it would keep up with Exiges around corners but lost a bit on the straights. hope this helps you make your mind up which one to take tomorrow, you lucky bugger a choice of two to take!

Take the 135R. Lovely cars, and you've got it in the coolest colour. If my car hadn't have come up at the time it did, I'd probably be a 135R owner by now.

Thanks guys, she is great. i took the Exige to the track and had a ball. next time though i am taking both cars. i got home and jumped in the 135 to meet the Seloc boys on Haytor for their run to Dartmouth and she i fantastic. much easier to drive around town and B roads etc.
I didnt go to Dartmouth as i have major sunburn. my girlfriend says i look like i have been tango'd. I feel like i have been.

Really?

I was under the impression there were only 50 135's built & they were in Silver Mica & Blue Mica.

No, due to the popularity, they did an extra 150 (I think) in Saffron Yellow. There were 150 Mica Blue, 150 Mica Silver originally and then the yellow ones later. The yellow ones didn't have colour keyed vents, but everything else was the same - except the HGF mod was done at the factory so the yellow are far less prone to HGF than the blue or silver.

Im 90% sure they only did 50 of each colour, my 2004 one being number 112 in yellow
