..for what it's worth, I reckon this has to the most interesting car website I've stumbled upon so far. A more complete mix of loonies and gatso hating enthuisiasts I have not seen. Well done all, even if I have had the odd little disagreement ! and well done to Ted for setting it up in the first place.

That's a good point Ted

From what I see, most of the activity happens on here from 9am - 5pm.

Presumably meaning that not many people, including me, are doing much work during the day!

I set up this site (and gave up the day job) because that's all I wanted to do at work. Now I'm getting nothing else done because of it! I've gone full circle.

Incidentally... keep shouting with suggestions for improvements (other than 'fix that 'kin bug Ted!) to the Gassing Station. Got to keep innovating

Ted, There was a request some time ago about being able to preview your post before finally posting it - this would cut down on the edits. Is this possible / already on the to do list?

Like the page no selection on large threads. I used to view threads in reverse order but my brain melted. This works better!

The preview is not 100% yet tho, if you don't like it and click "back" your message is lost (much page hopping and cut and pasting required!!).

Ah, well I'm on here a lot, 'cos I'm out of job right now!

Got a handsome payout from my firm, so had to take it. Hence me looking at what sort of cars there are out there, and spending way too much time on the 'net !

There is one thing Ted - you know how you've put in that blue line on old threads showing where it had got to last time you visited. It would be better if it was just on threads you had looked at before.

One other thing - can't see myself in the members' profiles

I made some changes last night, so your profile should appear in the directory now.

I've thought of a way of managing the last visit bar - if I get a chance I'll sort it out later.

Edit your profile and select 'Thread Tracking' and tracking for individual threads will (should ) work.

Any way to trace your own posts ? It might be handy to be able to group threads you'd contributed to onto one page (like the "Last 24 Hours" page) ? Just coz I like having ongoing arguments and it can take time to recall all the threads I've slagged off Tiv drivers on LOL.
Quiet on here tonight-had to do some real work so couldn't ramble on during the day.
