New seats needed

Where can I get some solid back seats (want to paint in matching car colour) for my 993 RS look? Also trying to source a bolt in roll-bar

G. They come up on eBay quite often, but what I found is that you really just want the to get a pair of original hard back shells if you are gong to have them painted.

Then get them upholstered in by someone like Southbound Motor Trimmers in original materials. Dont forget that you also need the runners.

There are a lot of carbon and carbon-look copies about also on eBay, but I was always advised to try and get the original Porsche (Recaro) ones.

Don`t forget that your original tombstone seats in leather (in that condition) are worth between £500-£750, which will go some way to offset costs.

If you want a genuine Heigo cage go direct to them. Thomas Schmitz at H+S offered me an original one about a year ago, might be worth looking at his Porsche parts page...
