temprature control wheel problem

just driven down to southampton on way to isle of wight, on the M27 when SWMBO asked me to turn the temp up. tried to but it just went loose and cannow be easily spun round all the way.

answers on a postcard to 'PJ has broken his P&J again', PO Box 13........

there is a small allen screw on the facelift heater control...has that come lose?
