Congratulations on the new additon!

Quick question, my wife and I are thinking about kids and the inevitable question about pushchairs has come along. I understand the MaxiCosi fits most cars? What about the X5 of the pushchair world, the Bugaboo? Does this all fit your motor?

Not a hope in hell of getting a pushcahir in a Gallardo. Forget it mate!

All IMHO of course.

On the more open question of kids, yes do it, and earlier than you think.
With my PHD in hindsight, I reckon Late 20s / 30 is ideal.

Elliot, congratulations, enjoy it as I'm sure you will.

Congrats on the new addition, better than any car! My little girl has been coming out since young in various ferraris. People always look at you in a funny way parking the F40 in the parent parking at the supermarket!!

We have the maxi cosy seat and the Quinny Zapp buggy. Great combo and haven't actually found a car that it doesn't fit in including the front of my wives C4S.

Many congrats!

I brought my wife and 2 day old son home from hospital in the Ferrari. One of the prime motivations for buying it was so that his first car ride would be in something interesting smile

Congratulations on the addition, he's a good looking chap!

Can I just ask... I'm in no way having a go or criticising anyone or any of the rest of that disclaimer rubbish but weren't you really apprehensive about taking your new borns out in a 2-seater?

I have no idea what it's like to have a child (thankfully) but I would imagine that I would bring said kid home from the hospital/drive around for the first year of it's like, in the back seat of a Hummer or something of the like driving at an average speed of 2 mph... Ultimate safety, in case some nutterfelt it was his purpose in life to smash into my vehicle...

Just a thought...

Are Gs Audified enough to be able to switch the airbag off on the passenger side?

Baby Will was in an Enzo at the age of 5 days, and in our 360 at the age of 4 days, but they werent moving. However he has since been in a Zonda F a Gallardo and a Mustang. At the age of 3 months on Sunday he will be going in a Gransport, so he has plenty of supercar experience.

Thanks for all the kind words, loving the whole dad thing and glad we have done it now (28). I still feel like i have some life left in me when i get in from work smile

Sadly the Gallardo has now gone, although i do have a letter of intent down for whatever is launched at geneva smile

Yes you can turn the airbag of in the G, and no the bugaboo doesnt fit, LOL.

I was not in the slightest bit nervous about taking him out, loved parking in the mother and baby section at Sainsburys and getting filthy looks until you lift him out the passenger side. Brilliant!

I wonder if the little dude has any concept of where he is when he's sat in that car? Incidentally... which howls loudest? hehe
