Air con not working.

Just as weather turns nice too! Typical!

We have an 02 cooper with climate control and last week all the windows misted up while driving and it got a bit warm. Now there is no cool air at all from the air con

I'd forgot what it was like to drive with the windows down!

Any ideas what it could be? Is there anything that I should check first or it it gonna be a specialist (expensive!) job

Probably just needs re-gassed, think Kwik Fit are charging £45 to do that...

... though if you don't use it often, as in at least once a week it will leak out again, there is something in the gas that keeps the seals lubricated and stops it leaking. If you don't use it often the lubricant does not get to all the seals and they dry up and leak...
