Honda look like they've found some pace! Wonder if they've 'borrowed' anything from any former Ferrari employees. wink

They were quick in practice at the 'ring but didn't translate into race pace. Seeing as a BMW is ahead of the Ferraris, their designer will be receiving something in the post soon...

I think the top teams practice with a race setup and heavier fuel load as they aren't as worried about qualifying pace as the middle ranking teams. Think Honda will be going all out for a quick laptime setup ready for tomorrow afternoon.

In first practice in Monaco they were 1.7 seconds off the pace, France they were 1.6 seconds, at Silverstone it was 1.8, Germany they were 1.4 seconds off the pace, this time around it's just over 9 tenths. It seems like some improvement in first running, even if they are running in lighter trim.

Pretty impressive that Vettel is so close to Liuzzi since this is the first time he's been near the Toro Rosso.

Perhaps they could bolt some Fezza technology on to limit themselves, sort of like a BTCC success ballast.

I think you're right, he's now only 5.3s off the pace.

Ok then, how many drivers still in F1 that Hill has raced against?

Wurz, Trulli, Fisi, Ralf, Barrichello and DC I think?

Whats massa upto? That ferrari looks to be struggling as do many of the other cars excluding the mclarens.

I'd be betting on a Mclaren 1,2. smile
