I am considering getting a C4S for next year. I would like to spec my own up. I have been told the current waiting list is around 1 year.......are Porsche usually pretty accurate with their lead times or can I expect to be left waiting longer.
Unlikely you'll be kept waiting longer. Either bang on time or a little earlier is sometimes a possibility.

I was told 18mths back in March so it looks like things have improved already
When I first ordered mine I was told 18 months.
I called and called and called the dealer hassling them and got it in just under a year. I think its a year still, but if you make a pest of yourself you might shave a few months off.
