for a 4.2, the throttles are a bit low... bump the idle screw up till they read 18 - 19

ignition is way out.... should be around 17 or so.... copy / paste error?

OK. Put the car on the pc again today and a friend sorted the linkage and idel problem.
Will need to replace/cure the linkage by either repacing with a M5 linkage or to insert rose joints. Whats the best route?
Aslo when starting the car from cold the ignition was around 35 then as the car warmed it droped to 14.5/15 ish. Is that correct?

Now for the HMMMM question. Lambdas!!
There all over the place. They start at 0 for around 2 secs the they jump to 1.2ish fall back to 0 then the other does the same and so on.
Is that right? Anyone had the same probs? How easy are they to get to?
Are they ment to be sporadic like that?

From what I understand, the lambdas operate a negative feedback loop, so yes, they should jump around like that, probably increasing in frequency as revs rise.

Any proper boffins want to comment?

The lambdas will be sporadic, but they should both show roughly the same value at the same time. If one is at 1.5 and the other is at 0 you have a problem

I fitted rod ends from ondrives. They do female right and left hand thread so no need to drill anything out.
