Hi,

I've seen a watch to purchase for my wife to be, and after looking around the usual watch shops in the Londona area, the cheapest i've seen it is for £1100.

I know overseas (Dubai, USA) it will be cheaper still, but i came across this site, which was mentioned in conversation with one of my best mates:

www.lingraywatches.co.uk

On this site, the same watch I've been looking for is listed for approx £850. Now that is a rather significant difference (i could buy another cheaper throwaround watch with the amount i save for example!)

My question is:
Are these guys for real and reputable retailers? Does anyone know much about them (i.e anyone purchased a watch through this site before)?

Thanks

I know nothing about them, but as they list an address, have a proper geographical phone number and just don't look/feel like a scam site I'd think they're legit, that's my gut reaction from the look/feel of the website anyway.

Tbh I'd give them a call/drop them an email and simply ask them "why so cheap" - can't do any harm.

They show up on the FSB, but all google shows is link websites and ebay.
I would be cautious. Pay them a visit.

I bought a Baume & Mercier Capeland through them a good while ago via ebay. Like you I was very secptical about authenticity & price (they do seem very cheap). After looking at their feedback & talking via email & phone I decided to take the plunge. Very easy to do business with, would definatly use them again. One thing though, they only seemed to sell Rado & Baume & Mercier watches at the time, but like I said this was a few years ago.
