No there isn't a Denby meet.

What happened to Peter? Haven't heard anything.

I had been trying to get in touch with Peter to attend a porsche show some weeks ago, anyway he called me this week from his hospital bed in Nottingham. He had a horrific accident in has cateram 6 weeks ago & has been in hospital since! Both legs broken, kidney split in tow, pelvic bone smashed. etc etc.. I was going to pop over & see him if anyone wanted to come along.

I will know what?!

If it's Peters' PH name? I think it's blueb8.

Will organise a Denby Run Out ASAP.

I have had a long chat with his mum and Peter really is lucky to be alive at all.

(She has told me that she is happy for me to let people here know the situation.)

Well, his Westfield was involved in a head-on crash, which not only left the kit car in pieces, but left Peter with a mass of broken bones and other injuries.
Needless to say, his body is pretty wrecked right now, but it's good to report that he has made progress in many ways.

He'll be in hospital for some time now, as other operations are in the pipeline.

Hi everyone, im now online from my hospital bed.
Im feeling quite well considering my injuries, it was my liver that split in two, but fortunately the liver will repair itself, stomach is still bloated and a bit uncomfortable, as there is a lot of fluid around there, it will sort itself in time though.
My legs aren't giving me any pain, but they are badly broken, so will have a lot of physio ahead of me.

I don't remember anything about the accident, which is probably a good thing.

Rod (Roony) has just been to visit me tonight, was nice to see you, and thanks for letting everyone know why i hadn't been around for a while.

Will be along to a meet as soon as i can, although no idea how long that will be.

Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter. I believe I saw the pictures. I work for a local Newspaper in Sheffield and saw the pics on our 'grid'. Stopped me in my tracks and I thought no one could have survived that.....

In fact I followed it up by calling the office of your local paper. Cant remember which one now because we have so many titles to see what the outcome was.

Happy to hear your recovering ! Theirs so much bad news of late it's great to hear some with an ( all beit painfull ! ) happy ending !

He is home, if anyone wants to visit him.
