Just seen a Mk 2 Escort Harrier reach nearly 10k on ebay ????

Is this the sort of money they are fetching ? It wasn,t even Silver or White ..............

They're probably the most sought after Escort after the RS/Mexico models.

For a mint, standard car you'd be looking at around £8-10k. For a roadworthy example but a bit rough around the edges around £3.5k. What is yours like?

Got to be one of the best i think ........ 36k from new 1 owner full history and still have original bill of sale and tyres ( although not on it ) .......... would put a pic on here but not too sure how to

Sad to say this but what was a Harrier, was it a 1600 sport with all the RS bits on ie Recaros, clocks etc

You arent far off.. I think the only differences are the seats and possibly wheels - certainly the same 84bhp powerplant etc. They were only available in white and silver.

Yes they made them a to get rid of the mk 2 shells b4 the mk 3 came out ..... and to celebrate there rally world cup win,s ...they made 1500 of them

Would like to know how many left ....... i wrote one off in 1987 so there,s only 1499 ......

They are very rare and can fetch more than rs 2000 ,s

Awesome car mate - definitely advertise it on the turbosport and oldskoolford - or alternatively the rally boys over in Ireland pay very strong money for decent escorts.

I'd keep it if you can though!
