Just had my new ECU fitted by Mike and Gary (CH).
When I gave them the car (2.5 with original ecu) it was only pulling 260bhp. The ECU was fitted and on std boost (0.65) gadge got it to 316bhp. The boost was increased to 0.75 and pulled 330Bhp.
The car had to come back to me as the guys went on holiday and work commitments intervened.
Today the car's road manner and drivability were sorted and the boost increased to peak at 0.9. The car is now pulling 350bhp which isn't bad for a 2.5l with standard exhaust.
The ECU has some interesting abilities, one of which i particularly like - on board flash memory so it can record engine data during track days without needing a laptop connected while on track.
I just wanted to say big thanks to Mike and Gary for sorting this out especially to Gary for giving the car a complete check over, inspection report and fixing any problems as he went along. Thanks again boys.
Boy does she go now

who has done the ecu and can i ask for an approx price please
Take a look at first line of first post. Mike can be found here username Gadgeroonie and Gary runs Crazy Horses Racing here: http://www.crazyhorsesracing.com/Mike and Gary are both top guys - well done!
Boost is likely to be increased via a boost solenoid controlled by the ECU.

What ECU was it and what did it all cost?
Haltech E8 or E11 if i am not mistaken. Same as i'm about to fit to a 600BHP MR2!
Mike is the UK importer for Haltech, so i'm sure he'll be along soon to confirm.

Yes it is the Haltech E8, check out the website www.haltech.com/.
The boost is controlledd electronically and I have a switch in the car to turn off the controller to go back to std boost for wet conditions (like I'm ever going to turn it off
). Best PM gadge for costings

the ecu that we fitted to Bondy's car is a Haltech E8, it is motorsport spec and has some impressive capabilities
it can run :
Anti lag
Full throttle gearshift
shift light(s)
mappable closed loop boost
gear defined boost pressure (lower boost in 1st for example)
nitrous
closed loop lambda
intercooler spray
intercooler fans
water injection
Climate control ! - (yes it can control the air con on and off automatically )
turbo timer
variable valve timing
etc etc
something i quite like is the ability to switch between different maps at will so you could have a race fuel / normal fuel map that can be switched as you require.
Data logging is quite extensive and you can measure suspension travel, lateral and longitudinal accelerometers, fuel temperature , transmission temperatures etc
it can be programmed to do pretty much anyting you want it to, and is packed with some very neat features - it has more power than any other ecu on the market for its price
Haltech are a very big name in motorsport abroad, as big as Motec in Australia - but hardly heard of in the uk so far
the E8 fitted to Bondy's car retails at £807.75 which is an absolute bargain !
the E11 is a fully supported motorsport ecu which operates like the E8 with many more channels at £1,023.75 - motec/pectel power at again a bargain price
i'm still trying to get some patch looms made up for the Nobles to allow the ECU to be plug and play
Bondy's car is now rather swift to say the least on a very low amount of Boost, the gains we have been able to make just by remapping a standard car have suprised me - a few simple mods and i'm pretty sure i can get the standard 2.5 to approx 380 bhp
