from a Mk1 996TT?

What have people done to improve the sound without completely screwing up the performance or making the mpg drop to sea level?????

Changed the stock exhaust to a tubi zorst. Massive improvement of the unispiring note of the stock one and I am very happy with the result.

The only downside is when you compare your newly acquired note to the one from the new 997 GT3.

The sound of the new GT3 is just so amazing.

i'm interested in people's thoughts on this. I picked up a 996TT 3 weeks ago, and the exhaust is first on my list. I want something a bit more, well, interesting, but i also want to take it on the track so it can't be too loud (before someone suggests straight through pipes!)

Ive got a Tubi on my 997 4S, and it sounds unbelievable. The best of it is, that its silent when cruising.
