Removing Boxster S seats.
Discussion
Hi everybody, new member here, 1st posting.
Just about to take the plunge and get myself a 2001 Boxster S in Guards red (by choice!),
only problem is 'boring' black interior, very depressing.
My question is would removing the seats to have them re-trimmed cause any probems? Sensors? Dashboard warning lights etc?? Also any ideas for tasteful enhancements for inside the cabin as the black over black look s too '80s for my taste.
Also is there anything i need to be aware of or look out for? Forewarned is forearmed an all that.
Any contributions appreciated.
Cheers Russell

You will need to find a trimmer that can work to factory standard; spend pounds re trimming and lose money as the car wont be standard.
Southbound have an awesome reputation and charge the fricking earth also. With the amount of work they have you cant knock them.
Best to buy a car thats the right spec.

Cheers vr6-er, probably wise words.
Just had too many black seat, black carpet, black doors, dash, steering wheel, roof cars.
Cream leather, cream carpet etc would suit me fine,
Let the abuse spill forth.....
Perhaps i should go back to an audi TT !!
Only joking..
By the way, lovely, lovely car Don.
