Do any of you know anything about this car?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/148439.htm

I'm tempted to ring up about it and it would make a nice project for the next few months, but .....

The fact that the contact is someone called S and the pics are poor are putting me off even ringing up.

Any info any of you may have would be great.

Thanks in advance.

It looks too suspicious.

"Due to where it was stored it was not possible to take a full frontal photograph of the damage" ..... bollo(ks.

Have they not ever heard of

Plus from what I see it seems to have taken quiet a smack.

Oh well .....

It was on sale more than a week ago so "highest bid in a week" is bullsh*t.

IMHO I wouldn't touch it at that price.

By the time you've spent out on that plus the SR resale value is it worth it anyway.

looking at the angle of the front bonnet & in relation to the relatively undamaged wings, it seems the car possibly hit a lamp post or concrete bollard HARD & dead centre.

the photo seems staged by piling crap infront of the car so you cant see the extent of the damage.

Yeah, it looks totally staged.

There's a lot of effort, and money, needed to get that one back to anywhere near decent condition.

I definitely WON'T be going after that one, but it does, however, give me the opportunity to show her-indoors the ad and tell her I might be thinking of looking at one. wink
