Excellent turnout on a scorching hot day with fields full of exotic classics. Here's just a couple to give you an Idea of numbers... amongst them a beautiful mk 1 Focus in Ocean Haze (could have done with a clean though) and in the second, a shot a loverly black Honda... Accord is it?... (Couldn't see any Sierras though) I'll leave the model spotting to those who know better
.
There were some old bangers in the field behind but I didn't bother with them.

Man of the match award must go to Darren for supplying the catering... well done Darren!
(Hope everyone's survived the food poisoning).

Seriously though, good day and good company as ever.
I'll let you other folks add some sensible pics

.Thanks for those Paul.
I'm pleased that my Honda has been captured for all of PH to see. It's a diesel you know (not that you'd notice - until it's started!!)
Great to see you again. If you want, next time I can lend you the D70 so you have a modern autofocus camera to have a play with if you want
My pics to follow...

Great day and awesome turnout (much to the angst of the marshal who I had no option but to ignore totally on arrival
)
Drowned at Kimbolton, boiled at Helmingham - is there no extreme of weather these PH chaps can't withstand?
Thanks to Andrew for the gazebo, double thanks to Darren for supplying an entire barbecue single-handed and at his own expense, and half thanks to Ian V for bringing half a banner!
Next stop: the Roadshow hits Rougham...

I promise I will clean the T350 before I bring it next year - trouble is, I do prefer driving it to cleaning it :-)
It was great to meet some of you guys, albeit briefly, at the pub too - an inspired rendez-vous location...
Cheers,
Jerry
The cars were great but the Pistonheader's were much better.

He He! Thats superb!
Thanks very much Darren, you made a MASSIVE effort with the food, it was top notch and very much appreciated.
Had a great day. was nice to get away from the spanners for a change!! only problem is we're both looking like lobsters now!
Nice to see/meet everyone, very much enjoyed chatting.
looking forward to the next one (if hannah will let me out!)
Regards,
Scott

Darren, looks like you were the star of the show
did you run out of food?
Sorry we weren`t there, but never the less had a great day at Rockingham. Unfortunately will also miss Rougham, as will be going to the Griff Growl. Well, its our 28th Wedding anniversary on the 18th August, and where else is one to take the better half
The next event for PH for us is the Stamford meet on the 26th August. I take it that you will be taking the Barbie along to that
Edited to say that did anyone place a PH sticker/invitation on the Focus and Honda, inviting them to appear in our line up at our next roadshow

Our first PH event and what a fantastic day it was too. It was great to meet you all. Ditto everyone elses comments about Darren. Well done for single handedly catering for everyone! Sorry no pics to post as I only took one and then the camera battery died - will try & do better next time! Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

What a cracking day out ! My face is a little 'lobstered' this morning but what the hell.
Good to see you all again, and to meet some new people as well. A really big thanks to Darren for his portable catering. I feel sure that you will be awarded the PHEA catering medal for your efforts. You really should have took some money though to cover your costs. Thanks again.
Paul, looks like some really special cars in your first two shots, I must have missed them.
Well lets hope that the weather stays as good for Rougham, and I promise to bring all the banner next time !

I'd propose the PH Catering Medal First Class with Wheel Nuts and Indicators...
