Basingstoke ride on saturday?

After having to work all weekend (the first sunny weather in ages AND the Brands result! ) I am in the mood for a decent blast (assuming it's nice n' dry as I'm a tart!)

I know a couple of guys on here were interested in it, so add ya name and we'll see if we can get a decent group together (I've been riding a month so all abilities welcome )

I would be up for this. I'm in Basingstoke myself and loving the Alton road but I have no idea where else to go so we could work something out??

Gonna be a good little group going so far then!

As I said, no plans to go anywhere in particular, I'm just as happy tootling abou.....I mean going hell for leather whether there's a specific destination or not! However, I guess most of us are fairly local-ish to the area so if you guys have any favourite routes that you like, that the rest of us might fancy a go at, put them in this thread & we'll see if we can link some of them up.

As Alfa mentioned, the Basingstoke to Alton road (A31) is good for a blat, and if any of you haven't done it before I'm sure you'll enjoy it, aside from that I have no specific roads to add so let's have some suggestions......

Thats the one don't know the roads but is this still on for Sat morning? As taking the GF out Fri night and will consume less beverage if I know this is on!
