Why do Parkers say the PD150 Anni weighs so much vs say the standard GT TDi 130?

All the weights for the Golfs are off a million miles on the site.

Does anyone here have any idea how much an Anni diesel actually weighs? As it stands the power to weight ratio is a bit pants.

As far as I know the only real difference between the 130 and 150 Tdi is the turbo and a bit of mapping. Sure there might be a few other small things but nothing to change the weight. They should be the same. Although if someone has a better idea/knowledge I would be (semi) interested to know.

I'm sure the intercooler/radiator is also bigger on the 150, as well as the turbo. The Anni has lowered sports suspension and a few differences to the interior, but again, i can't see how or what would make any weight difference tbh.

Try posting on www.uk-mkivs.net - A very friendly and informative site. biggrin

Thanks guys... just trying to get a good idea as a friend is running a tuned TDi, and just in pure comparison terms to an Anni it's getting confusing as it weighs so much. I'll just assume they all weigh ~ 1250kg for now till I get more info/weigh the car smile

Aniv is heavier due to the larger intercooler, but most obviously the standrad leather trim and wheels vs the standard 130 version
