I saw this at the ring last week and wondered whether it was a limited model I hadnt heard of, or simply an owner adding the RS stickers to a GT2?

Though, this was authentic lick

A few specialists have deemed it suitable to stick RS designation on fettled Gt2 rolleyes

How authentic is the 2nd car?..Ruf badge on the front lid, RS tuning sunscreen and a GT2 spoiler kit without the arches, looks like an authentic modded Porsche to me smile

Initially the only think that looks "RUF" about the car is the badge.

Engine looks standard, RS tuning are a different outfir to RUF (former RUF engine builder, good reputation). Bodykit is non RUF, standard GT2 look, standard mirrors,,wheels look standard TT.

I am sure it is a wonderful car, but from a photo there is little to indicate it is an authentic RUF.

It appears to be this one, a nicely executed conversion with a price to match.

The owner didnt know much.

The Ruf RGT is only in 996 and 997 iterations, and they are based on the GT3 and very NA....

Rear wing, colour scheme and badging are more tha dubious. However, I like the naked interior which is more RS than what Porsche currently sell under that badge IMHO

no such thing as a GT2 RS on a 996, but definately some aftermarket upgrades available.....am sure I saw one......in my garage :-)......that rear wing is a bit too large for my liking!

if the rear wing on that gt2 wasnt so big and it didnt have the vent at the back by the gt2 badge it would look really good.
