Problem With Wipers

I have just brought a chimaera and the wipers do not work i have looked into this and found that the linkage cable from the motor to the wipers has broken - does anybody know where i can get a replacement cable for this? thanks in advance

What year is your car, is the wiper motor in the engine compartment or under the dash? Cannot answer your question but this will help others to do so

Is there a trick as to how you could remove what's left of a cable that's broken in half on the pre 99 cars ?

Take the wipers and winding them both together by hand feed the rack through the pinions.

doh, seems obvious now lol
Just hope the cable isn't a short 3" section part broken at the longest point
