Didn't see the cars but assume Andy was there in his V8S, if so and if he was beaten then it must be some special motor which I'd love to see.

Richard from Dulford who was judging says it was a two-tone Taimar in the TVR parking behind the main stand and exhibitors that won it overall. I didn't see it or get a pic - anyone know the car? confused

It was a 2-tone Taimar Turbo SE. It was in the lot both days as well as on the track.

It was our very own Roger Coulsey from Yorkshire and Humberside region who owns the winning car. Roger does even less mileage than me in his cars, and thats a difficult task!!

Love to see pictures of the winning cars, as I said earlier I can relate to Andy V8S and that is very special.

Very nice Taimar - remember seeing it at the 50th at Brands Hatch. Must do no miles at all as it hasn't deteriorated in 10 years.

22k from new. The cars is used less often than in the past but Roger was not averse to the odd track day in the 80s and 90s with the car. smile

Apologies but I am trying to hand over jobs at work this week so don't have a lot of time to update the TVRCC site. I've also spent most of my spare time since returning from the Rock liaising with the various journalists who covered the events for the national media. Full results of all competitions at Rockingham will be posted on the Club site in the next day or so but I can confirm that Roger's Taimar Turbo won the concours, a red H reg Vixen came second (I have his details tucked away in my file which is still in the back of the car in the garage) while Andy Hills came 3rd.

Thanks for the update... are you able to say which nationals might be running features please?
