i have just read that 4.7 million watched the f1 race on sunday and it keeps growing due to the hamilton factor. i also read after every race on this forum about how many people are unhappy with the coverage from itv and also its commentry team. dont you think that itv should increase and improve its coverage as so many people watch it????moan

Increase!!!!!! pah. I can't bear to watch the build-up with Mark-carisma-Blundell, Louise-insiteful-Goodman and Ted-I_wish_I_was_James_Allen-Kravitz. It is sooooooooo lame.

It might not be their fault though. I think the current F1 scene is so media savvy and corporate focused that all the drivers and team personell behave like drones.

And stuff like "I turned the engine down to save it for the next race" doesn't help - what utter crap.

The only way ITV could improve their coverage is to sake everyone apart from Martin Brundle and then bring in some real talented individuals who know about their sport.

If MotorsTV can hold a TV audience for over 24hrs at Le Mans and make it thrilling to watch, then ITV should be able to find someone better than THE COCK who can make 2hrs exciting...

...of course BBC Radio Live5 knew that a couple of weeks ago when they got Murray behind the mike again smile
