Well folks, it's been nice knowing you, but I guess I won't be posting (or mostly lurking to be fair) on here as my lovely blue thunder has gone to a new owner tonight.

Thanks to everyone for helping me with various enquiries, and to Greens and RapidGB for looking after her. I guess I never really got the most out of the motor, but I think the new owner will. He seems a nice guy and I've given him the URL of this forum so hopefully he'll become a poster.

Going to check out a Skoda Octavia vRS estate tomorrow. So all is not lost, I guess!

We need uber-practicality for the nipper, I've also really got into cycling in the past year so need something that can lug racing bikes around easily.

There'll never be another car like that Monaro in my life though....
