Well i bought her 6 weeks ago but couldnt collect as we were waiting for a new LCD dash display.

Monday (yesterday) I made a 2 and half hour drive to swap my 350bhp subaru Impreza STI8 for this TVR. We went down to Hants and pulling in and seeing her my heart jumped.

Got the keys and spent 4 hours driving her back threw villages and stopping everywhere.

This car getes more people looking, talking and coming to ask questions than anything i have ever driven. People just come over all the time to talk about it, ask about and it felt great

Its just a mental drive, on a new level of mental. The noise it makes with a full sports exhaust is just stupidly fantastic!

its a couple years old so its got some faults which are being looked at. BUT all very small like catches or bits that aint sitting right. Overall i am VERY VERY VERY happy smile

No storage.. but sod it.. its fun! I thought getting 1 at 24 years old would be a problem. BUT insurance was fine and i chuffed!

The car looks great. As you are probably aware, little faults like catches and trim etc. are nothing to get too worried about. I don't think a TVR has been built without them wink Its often just a case of using your own DIY skills to iron things out in due course.

Car looks fantastic, congratulations. Im also looking to buy one in the next month or so, but have not found a decent quote yet - all around the £2k mark which seems a lot as im 28 (only got 2yrs NCB though). Who did you insure with?

Most of all - enjoy!

TGJR - Yea i noticed a very few nicks in the leather, but overall the interior is in really good condition so i am not worried about that.

In terms of bits i spent 2 hours with pen and paper listing all its faults and i came up with:

1. Headlights to be resealed
2. New wing mirror glass
3. New bolts on rear window boot catch
4. have drivers door bolt latch looked at
5. water tank for washer jets leaking

That was it really. Everything else seems good. I got a full service and repair history from racing green TVR which i have been told know there stuff.

MrMop - Yea its an empty brewery building that is in Nottingham. I have access to it at weekends so i use it to photo cars cause it looks awesome smile I photoed all my cars and friends there. lol.

FrancoTam - I actually got them from A1plates.co.uk and the service was very good actually.

The machine - You wont believe this.. But elephant.co.uk and my insurance at 24 was alot less than what you saying. But i do have 5 years NCB

Forthright - Thanks chap smile I love the colour to. I love taking photos so there will be many more to come. I have just done 2 videos as well coming soon! hehe

When i got my new shape scooby it was rare and felt good. BUT now you can drive anywhere and pass at least 1-2 new ones and several old ones.

Strangely i have never seen a T350 on the road and i do alot of traveling.

Neither has anyone i know. ANYone on here from Nottingham? Cause we are sure there are none my side of the river in Westbridgford and that area

Congrats on the purchase, great cars, and looks a nice spec too. biggrin

I sold my last T350 to someone in nottingham 6 months ago, imperial blue FJ55 ONR.

Im in Chesterfield so not too far away, and my best mate lives across from trent bridge in W bridgford.

Dont tend to bring the Sag down to his though cos i dont wont to leave out on the3 street all night

T350 Brad... Completely.... The impreza is a very very good car for those with a family, kids or its there only car so need some practicality with their car. I would deffo have another or an evo when i have kids and need 4 doors.

BUT for that raw driving experience and to get the looks from people the T350 is on a new level. A complete new level smile
