I signed the one about road taxing along with twelvety trillion other people and all i got was an email from Blair saying

'tough shit we're gonna do it anyway'

Those petitions wont ever achieve anything, they're just there so that the public feel as if they have a say.

Also.... wouldn't that give an opening to say that as you get it 'tax free' you have to wear it now... bit like happened with helmets...???
