New here but just Bought the VXR600 that some of you have been out in. Any views about the car? Was dry when I test drove it and it seemed a bit quick (bearing in mind that Im used to running a 440bhp turbo busa as well on the road)

Never had the pleasure of it, but....

I have the Harrop 112 running at 12psi and that is very rapid. From memory that is running the 122 at 12psi which will give it quite a few more horses.

I would say it must go like stink, but I have no idea where that phrase came from!

Cheers guys and yes you would be Bias "Brian...?" your sales man was very good I have to say! knew his stuff and answered all my Q's without a problem. Looking forward to getting it soon since a mate of mine has spent the last 2 years demonstrating how fast his RS6 is compared to my cars :-) (He also owns a 1600cc turbo busa with 598bhp so Ive not been able to shut him up with the bike either!)

Id recomend Greens to anyone looking for a car as compared to all the Audi dealers I visited while looking at RS4's they were far more accomodating and helpfull. Also the car is alot faster which is saying something when talking about RS4's!

Apologies for possibly hijcaking the thread, but I cannot help but wonder how the f*ck one uses a 400bhp motorbike on the road? Don't you just end up on your arse as soon as you squeeze the go faster knob? I am genuinely interested as it just seems utterly mental biggrin

Thanks for the comments, based on the stories of other people who test drove it, and then felt it was 'too much' for them, I wondered whether it would find a proper home, it appears to have!! It must be a pussy cat compared to a bike with that much power.

Brian.

PS

Your mates RS6 will probably beat you in the snow!!

It wont be going out in the wet! BMW330 sport was bad enough so not risking this thing!!

Bikes ok but you can fall off easy. Best I tried was 0 - 170mph in 9sec's dead and 217mph within half a mile from a standing start (limited by the gearing only as we didnt have any smaller sprockets)
