Clicking links?

Sometimes when I click them, they open in the current window, sometimes they open a new window. Why is this happening?

May not be this but if you press( and hold) the "shift" key when clicking the link it will open the link in a new window. If its in differing parts on PH then it's proably down to the way the page has been setup.

Where abouts is this happening?

If guessing in the forums then the answer is:

A forum post which is embeded straight in such as www.pistonheads.com will open in the same window.

A forum post using the url tag such as http://www.pistonheads.com  will open in a new window.

For those that don't see the difference, this post in code format:

A forum post which is embeded straight in such as www.pistonheads.com will open in the same window.

A forum post using the url tag such as [url]http://www.pistonheads.com[/url] will open in a new window.

Yeah its in the forum. Its happened with photos a couple of times as well I think.
