Afternoon all,

Thinking about getting an A4 Diesel and I wanted to know if their are any major/expensive jobs/faults that needs to be considered as the miles rack up?

I'll be looking at getting something that is about 3/4 years old and max 50k on the clock. I've also seen the Tunit chips that you can get for them - are these the best ones?

Thanks a million in advance.

thanks for that - i'll will do when I've chosen a car, I'm leaning towards the A4 opposed to the 320 as I've hear/read stories of their turbo going pop @ 60k miles!!!

had a 320 and was not impressed, the 330 is a great car is you can get one, but my wife prefers the audi.

Most Audis use a cambelt, I think, and the service interval for those is usually 60k miles (at least on '90s and early '00s models). Would be worth checking whether a prospective purchase has had a change done, or will need one soon...
