full service history

had my car for about a month and i am amazed at what has been missed throughout the years by noble specialists even down to the air filters being so blocked its untrue.i for one will be taking the nob to someone who cares about what they do even if it means my service book has unauthorised stamps in it

I've just experienced some problems with Mole Valley. I've had my car less than a fortnight and it went in for a 6k service having just had the oil changed.

For a year now, I've been using the racing engineers at Minister Power just round the corner from me in Chatham. Their knowledge is through the roof and they're no stranger to Duratec engines either. A top team who actually car about the car, and local too (and much more affordable!). Cost £30 for an oil change and got the service at Mole Valley down to just £250 from over £800

It means I can have the work done by Minister, and take it to Mole Valley just for a once over and stamp in the service book - when they remember to actually stamp it!

Ultimatly if you don't care about resale values, or believe you will only sell to someone "in the know" then it makes bugger all difference.

Advertised / sold for however says FFASH does matter though I'm afraid.

Lemings and all that, but that's the way it is.

Probably would agree with that, shame since some of the local non-authorised specialists appear to be every bit as good (and cheaper).

So based on the other thread. Can anyone go on the 5 day course then be approved??? just curiuos really... Then i can service my own (once purchased) AND put an approved stamp in the book..

Sadly no. even the previous approved service centers, eg Roush and plans are no longer approved, not because of their work, but because Noble decided that only garages that sell the cars(if they had one to sell!!) would keep approved status.
