LP07 & SG54 - The journey home
Discussion
Hi Guys,
A few pics from our recent epic journey back from the factory.
SG54 & LP07 final checks before departure.

Our very subtle Interior!

Autostrada outside Modena

En Route through the Alps

St Gottardo pass

Coffee stop in the Alps

I now need a bigger Garage!

Having driven the LP a little more than Simon over the last few days (I did let him have a few goes honest!) I have to say the car is just awesome. I really thought I'd find it hard to get used to the extra width compared to the Gallardo, but after a few short miles it didn't really feel any wider.
It drives different to SG54 and was a great comparison frequently swapping over between the two cars. The LP seems alot more sure footed than SG54, very reminiscent of my Gallardo and the brakes work! The pedal box is the same as the Gallardo (good setup for heeling and toeing. The gear ratios are different and the engine rev's to 8.5K now(not that I've tried it as were still running it in).The steering is very positive and gives good feedback. The fuel economy isn't even that bad, it was doing roughly 250 miles on £75 cruisng at a steady 100ish. All in all I cannot fault it
I've got the car now for the first two weeks and then its Si's turn. I'll be going to the Silverstone event on the 12th so you can see the car in the flesh there.
I'll keep you posted of how the next two weeks goes, but if its anything like the last two days, I can't wait!
Andy.

Yea LP07 has defo got a harder kick to it than SG54. I'll be checking that front spoiler in two weeks Mr Cumming!!
Again, thanks for all your kind comments - the LP640 purchase has been one of the most stressful purchases ever, trying to make the numbers fit has not been easy. Anyway its here to stay now. For you photo buffs those pics are taken on a Lumix DMC-TZ3 a better compact I have yet to come across. The Evo guys use one as a backup so I'm told, fantastic lens..
