2 weeks into TVR ownership and I am loving every second of it! However, my sagaris has a couple of small niggling things which Id like to fix.
If anyone could give advice on how to solve each of these problems myself I'd be very gratefull.

1. Rear window rattles. Is it a simple adjustment to the window catch?

2. Passenger window seal leaks when washing car.

3. Squeaking front n/s suspension. Can I fix this myself?

4. Aircon struggles on a hot day when engine up to temp.

5. I've snapped the rubber triangle bit at the end of the drivers door. (used it to push the door close) can I replace this easily...?

They are only small niggles but if they were all fixed the car would be 110% perfect and thats how I want to keep her.

Any advice welcome.
Thanks
Lee

rear window rattle is simply a matter of putting a rubber sleeve around the latch at the back. Job done. I had mine done at the dealer so I don't know where they get them from but it looks like the sort of thing you can get from any diy store.

Rear window rattle - mine had this and I fractionally adjusted the latch to be a tighter fit and tweeked the fixings on the 'C' shaped hinges. This seems to have done the trick.

Squeeky suspension - funny, mine seems to have a slight squeek too that I notice driving very slowly over bumps. I guess its a dry bush or mounting rubber and may pass with plenty of use smile

Tell him to stop going slowly, that should fix the first point wink
And the second, get some copper slip on the back those brake pads - cheap fix. smile

thanks for the replies so far. I will have a play around with the hinges and latch to try and cure the window rattle tonight.

In regards to the rubber seal that I snapped.. it is definatly snapped in half... Im hoping that small unimportant parts like these are readily available off the shelf.
