VW Golf Bike Carbs

Hi All i have seen this car for sale

i am interested in doing this to my 1.8 driver mk2 vw golf and was wondering what bike carbs i need to keep an eye out for and what sort of power gains i would see?

I'm in the middle of doing this on my 16v corrado.. so I'll come back to this thread and let you know what power gains I get once dyno'd.

Do a search on clubgti and ed38, a few people have done 8 valve engines now with varied results. It's got to be better than a single, single choke carb though!
