Semi Auto Techniques

I have a query for the advanced driving instructors/enthusiasts....

I have been driving a Semi-Auto ie a proper clutchless manual for the last few years (Alfa Selespeed and now a Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa) and was wondering apart from the "lift up on upshift" technique, is there anything other than this to help improve shifts or driving?

And before any smartypants say, No, I don't fancy changing to a Manual!!!!
