which glue?

I'm going to replace the boot lid seal on my griff. Can anyone recommend a good glue for the job?
Reason: suffering from exhaust fumes like several other griff owners, and have read the recent "gassed out" thread with interest. I suspect fumes are getting into the cabin via my boot as the seal is knackered. Will let you know if this solves the problem.
