Im considering have the interior of my Veranti re-trimmed but unsure if I should go for leather or alcantara?

Does anybody know which one is least espensive? And which its the hardest wearing. Also any ideas for colours would be appreciated as I haven't made my mind up yet. The car itself is sprayed in Honda S2000 grey.

Cheers
Jon

I did my car's interior in Alcantara which was easy to machine and shape. I wouldn't like to attempt the same job in leather. I would imagine that a trimmer would charge lots more labour time when working with leather.

Im almost definatly suaded on the alcantara, cheers for the feedback. Hopefully there more chance of it being in budget, to have just the seats and a small area on the doors cards retrimmed in leather was going to be 600 notes! Is that about right?

As a guide my leather seats almost same as Raz's were also £600 from the same guy... alcontera is actually more expensive material that leather so offsets the effort saving.
But I've gone for alcontera with only a splash of leather for my interior as I intend to do card etc myself.

How about getting the F355 replica interior kit from Extreme sportcars? You get a replica dash and doorcards. Would suit a Veranti very well I'd be thinking?!?! It is expensive though.

My seats were about £450 each in Dynamica, which is another synthetic suede. I didn't ask how much leather would be, but vinyl was just over half the price.
