As the title suggests really... would a sports silencer for a Tuscan fit on a Sagaris?

Would you reccommend re-tunning the engine if a sports silencer is being fitted?

Can anyone reccommend any good end cans for a Sag?

(Lastly I have tried the search tool but the companies I found Blueflame/CCC no longer produce Sagy end cans...)

Many Thanks
Lee

tuscan and sagaris cans are the same thats how some sag's have tuscan cans on for trackday's
if you buy some blueflame or ccc's for the sag they are the same as the tuscan so you will have no problem but we have found that the ccc's make the sag pop and bang at lower speed's well they do on our sag with no backbox biggrin
the cans you have on your sag are sleeved like the ccc's so thats why it pops and bangs
if you need any other help contact me through me profile

Standard Tuscan and standard Saggy cans are not the same. I've had both. The tusc cans perform most of the silencing but on the saggy's the center box does this.

But could I buy a pair of end cans from Carbon Can Company and fit them to the Sagaris? or would this upset things?

You can fit what you like, I've sold my original saggy cans and purchased two sets of cans from blue flame performance. For track days I fit the shark nose cans and for normal driving, I prefer the Tuscan cans. It only takes about 15 Min's to change the over. Both sets are stainless and have the blue flame effect on them. The choice is yours.

Yeah they have, but you need that wow factor, and especially with Rochester's car the blue flame would really set the scene.

I think the way forward will be to De-cat her and fit some Blueflame shark nose end cans for the finishing touch, although this isn't cheap so I will have a good think about it all....

Does anyone on here have a De-catted Sagaris (or one with Blueflame or CCC's) that I could have a passenger ride in to hear what its like?

Thanks
Lee

If you put standard tuscan cans on a saggy it will make it quieter, i've have both. Also the Tuscan can is slightly shorter and won't stick out of the diffuser the same.

This is true, they don't stick out as much, but then they don't get hit with all the stone chipping. They stay in pristine condition. As for the sound I didn't notice any difference between the original cans and the Tuscan ones. If you want to do track days leave the cats on. IMO I think the car doesn't sound that good with the cats out, very raspy.
