Does anyone know the make/model code of the o2 sensors fitted to the 04 cv8?

Yep. I do, played this game last week.

The Bosch part numbers on the box are as follows:

They change name, brand, part number, by the time they become Vauxhall parts but these are what is originally listed by Bosch for an 04 CV8 as listed by Allparts

I bought two last two weeks ago due to emissions problems but they made no difference what so ever irked

Vauxhall wanted £150 each, Allparts wanted £58 + vat. Go figure.

Allparts also do a universal four wire sensor for £28 + vat but you have to make up the plug and I couldn't be arsed for a score so I bought the originals. I have two sensors which I tool off although one was reading high and one low so I have no idea which one was good or bad!

PM if you would like more details.

this weekend I'm going to be mostly swearing as I try to get the current one off to test. I have a feeling it is just the extended wiring loom that needs sorting.

How long was the new looms on your supplied units were they long enough for long tubes?? I know Monkfish have some kits to extend the loom... I'm prob going to get one of those + the narrow band and we'll see.

Cheers fella

I had problems with my 02 sensors but in the end it was found to be the wiring going into them that caused the problem. Well worth checking out.

I think here it looks like the wiring, its drawing a steady 0.45mv or there abouts at all revs

I'm going to check out the wiring first, order a replacement if needed but at the same time looking at getting an lc-1 to do the job of the narrow band and wide band function

extension looms from US are very cheap - sure they worked out around 20$ US each last I checked. On my way out the door right at the moment or I'd check the usual places for you.

I think monkfish have the extention looms anyway!

In the end I got myself an LC-1, might as well do the job now seeing as the O2 has to come out...

That bosch you bought, was it definitely the flat oval type connector rather than the square connector on the later cars?
