Despite still REALLY wanting a 2004/ 2005 Aprilia Mille I have purchased a Kawasaki ZXR 750 as a winter tool and to get some experience on.

I am very very excited.

It's a black and purple (Pink has been removed) 1994 model.

Now, all I need is to take my test!

Dave!

The Kawasaki range of 750`s are peaches...I also harbour secret plans to bag an aged ZXR750 H2 & perhaps a later model J or K model too...

If you have not seen Dukes `On board TT 3` video...Tim leech has a corking lap at the end on a ZXR750 racebike that is utterly inspired viewing.

Best of luck with the forthcoming test.

Cheers guys.

I can't wait to be able to take it out, i'll get some pictures taken as soon as possible.

I wasn't aware the bike had any kind of following?

Good choice, I always liked the ZXR. Came very, very close to buying a new K model years ago. Beautiful machines.

I started on a Yamaha YB100 in 1977, then a Honda CB125 in 1978, then a Suzuki GT380 in 1979, then a CX500 in 1981. I stopped riding bikes between 1982 and 1998 and then I bought a Yamaha R1 (how bikes had changed since my CX500!), followed by a ZX12R in 2000 and now a ZZR1400 in 2007 smile

Nice one, and good luck with your test. Great bikes - I used to have a P4 model (by then renamed ZX7R).

Nice bike, once rode one belonging to a mate of mine; good handling and plenty fast......
