Central Locking

I've searched through the forums and can't find the answe to this ..

I've just removed a Gemini 2339 unit from under the dash as it had burned out. It looks as though it was added as a modification as the tape around the loom was a bit messy and revealed a number of cut wires that had been diverted from the "TVR Engineering" Central Locking unit to the gemini unit. After reconnecting these, the central locking now works fine from either door, but the button in the centre console doesn't function. I can't see any other cut wires. The button in the centre has three wires - black, red/black and green/white I think. The back carries a constant neutral to the switch. When depressed, the red/black sends a neutral to the central door locking unit. If I bridge a positive feed to the green wire, the light on the top comes on.

If the switch is sending the signal to the central door locking unit, I can only assume that something is going wrong after that ... but am unclear whether the unit then goes directly to each door solenoid or whether there is some form of intermediate relay?. Also can't figure out where the button get's it's feed for the green light on the top.
