Mica red, whats that then?
Discussion
Hello all
Don't suppose that anyone knows what mica red is used on in the real world?
I've been told its a Vauxhall colour and I do do with a can to touch things up a bit
looks like this

I should point out that the paint isn't for the after effects of the fire as that was only very minor ( oil leaking onto exhaust)

Try contacting Webbs at Nailsea who do lots of paint/bodywork or post on the General TVR forum as some ex works blokes frequent that (including an ex TVR paint chap) - they might be able to help.
The regs changed in March this year concerning the use of solvent based paints - they now have to be water based, when existing stocks have been used up. Beware of this as it meant a totally different formula for my Griff during its recent front end respray. This might only be a problem for 'fancy' paints rather than solids but worth asking the question....
