VXR8 A/C and radio problem ?

Have a problem with the A/C and radio, with the radio or cd playing if you touch the left hand A/C control the whole screen goes blank and you loose the sound, the screen and sound then takes about 5 or 10 seconds to reset, most annoying, will have to drop it back to the dealer but thought I would ask just in case anyone else has the same problem.
