Anyone about to build and Ultima and expecting big speed at these type of events, I thoroughly recomend over 600bhp at the flywheel. So if A/S engine, nothing short of a 640bhp.

Alas - tis correct. There were two classes - one for Standard Production cars....and one for modified cars. Adrian's M400 comes into the latter category with 580bhp/500ftlbs and 950kg.

My lowly 497bhp/400ftlbs and 1050kg(est) was no match.

Either way - it's a great result mate. Thankfully there's no real 'standard' for an Ultima to be put into!

497bhp is pretty healthy though. Have you dyno'd it over here yet?
