Hi,

After doing my first trackday on wednesday (Oulton Park) I seem to have killed a rear wheel bearing, great fun though! Grinding + lots of play. My car is a 2002 sei wide with a sierra diff, driveshafts and rear disks. Does anyone know what bearing I need? Is it just a sierra one? If so, which model? Are they hard to change? Do they need pressing in/out of the hub carrier?

Thanks in advance,

Andy...

Need to heat up the upright and press out the bearing (can do without heat but you need to be really careful not to crack the Ali)

I got mine from Westfield for simplicity and speed (about £15 each from memory)

Thanks for reply,
Will order a bearing from westfield tomorrow. Not sure about heating up the upright but don't want to crack it either. What with? If you use a gas flame won't it'd be very hard to heat it evenly and stop it warping. What about an oven? How hot? Just take the chill off it? Or hotter?
