Looks fantastic - http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/magazine/3800.asp?...
Interested to know if anyone has one / has tried one. Says that it has radar detector but no mention of camera detection.

Navigon is very popular in Germany and the latest versions look really good. They have put in 3d directions and road split information as well as signage - so a split in the motorway you get to see which lane and what direction to head. This is pretty good and looks great.
The 7100 and 7110 are currently an unknown quantity though. No one has reviewed them as far as I know. The previous versions rated well and quite flexible. But really should wait to see how it is in the real world though. Mio have some new 3d bird view systems coming which also looks great. The major EU manufacturers of satnav have a fight on their hands to catch up with TomTom - should be pretty interesting in the coming months to see how they combat the TomTom massive market share...

Yes the new Navigon 7110 (and 7000, 5000 and 5110) look great units
These new units run the much revamped Navigon Navigator 6.5 - and I currently use a Pocket Loox with Navigon 6.1 and the previous years maps
As an owner of a Navman n40i, a Garmin Nuvi 300 and a Tom Tom, and having used several other units, the Navigon software is about as good as it gets, with the most accurate vocal directions of the lot (so no need to the look screen for almost all the journey)
If you do, they also have the neatest mapping display, in my opinion
The newly announced Mio 3D mapping isn't (yet) all it is made out to be - its just 3d buildings in a part of several major cities at the moment - a few years before it comes to me and your high street!
