karting - 100 national or rotax max?

Im going to get into karting and once i have improved my ability to drive the kart i would like to get into some races.
Has anyone ever been involved with these races? if so where would i be best of starting?
Its just so that i know what kart to get!

Get a 125 Rotax Max mush faster.

Actually, there is very little between 100 National and Max in terms of lap times however the max is much more reliable. You will be changing pistons and rings every 30mins in National. Also, the grids are much smaller and harder to find at club circuits.

Go with Max - you will enjoy it.
